Is it possible to run a DVC sub with 1 voice coil running the left channel and the other voice coil running the right channel without damaging the sub in the long run?

not too shure i havent gotten them yet. my brother builds them professionally for a living and built em for the subs i bought so i'll find out when i get them from him. although i have heard from other people these sound better ported but everyone has their own opinion lol

becides out of the everything i have i only payed for 2 new sub's and what soon seems to be cscstangs amp everything else i got for free and the sub's are only $38 each so im not too worried

I'll tell you what theres nothing quite like comming out of an grand mall seizure to find that you destroyed your own sub

ok. i had to replace the sub i did have cuz it didn't have an protective grate and i went into an seizure and ripped the cone on my sub to shreds *sigh* it still works but its just being heald togeather by tape and staples untill the new subs arrive then its getting retired

i've been saving for awhile and the speakers have a 12 moth warranty as well as i already have some professionally made box's for them that my brother gave for free so i wassent too worried paying $38 each for the speakers

my budget is at $250 right now cuz i've been saving for a long while the subs are dual voice coil at 4+4 ohm's 200w rms and 1000w max

I know plenty about mechanics but nothing about speakers and speaker systems and it seems when i ask for help all anyone wants to do is insult me for the brand of subs i picked out instead of helping with figureing out how and what amp/amps to get *sigh*

I'm just a machanic who can't drive and is stuck working at a gas station for crap $$$. I don't care as long as there cheap and they work I simply don't care like i have said before and will say agine i don't care about the sub's brand just how to match an amp to them *sigh*

look the subs are already on the darn way! i just wanted some help with pairing up an amp properly with them! I only make $60 a week so i work with what i got. I'm not going for any super high quality or anything like that just something that works, ok!
