I have 2 Pioneer GM-8601 amps paired with 2 Pioneer TS-W3002D2 subs, both wired down to 1 ohm. I am using them in a single chamber ported enclosure tuned at 33hz. I tuned both amps with a DMM to match them exactly. The amps are daisy-chained together. They have worked great for about 7...

They look like one is moving faster than the other. I could see what looked like a speed difference because I was playing a 5hz sine wave. You can see that they are moving slightly out of sync on anything below about 40hz or so.

If you're looking for loudness, go with a ported box. They will perform best with at least 2 cubic feet each.
