I have some type x speakers from Alpine and they are better than anything ive ever heard so far. Im assuming the quality will carry over to their type x subwoofers. Alpine you would get some pretty good quality sound from them and the loudness would all depend on how they are installed.

With the ported box im assuming that the subs would be facing upward. I just want to make sure I do this right.

I have a 1995 honda civic ex with 2 JL 12" subs plus a whole audio system but what ive noticed was that when my back seats are up, the bass seems like it is at half volume. When I put the back seats down it doubles, if not triples the bass and the clarity of it. What can I do to fix this for...
