i bought this amp kit awhile back Amazon.com : DB Link PK4Z 4 Gauge Power Series Amplifier Installation Kit : Vehicle Electronics Accessories : Car Electronics . i periodically check the power wire to see if it holds up to engine heat, wear, etc... still looking good.

won't last? i can shell out a $100. i'm just not aware of what products are good anymore. lmk. thanks.
