Crap out on you? C'mon!!! One input is sufficient in most apps. Only in some SPL situations the option of using dual inputs is recommended. The other input can be used to wire a external cap. But b/c only using one, the amp will crap out. I highly doubt it. IMO
I've had mine cut @ Lowes before. Is great for someone who doesn't own their own tools. They made some bad cuts on mine before, but would just replace the piece for me without any hassle. That's why you are paying them for. Would be more accurate than a beginner taking a jigsaw to it, and...
Honestly, I think you would be fine with the Big 3 upgrade. With PG 800.1, really don't think I'd waste my time on 2nd battery unless you plan an upgrade in near future. But anyways, I ran a yellowtop to my trunk. Used 0 gauge from (+) positive terminal of starting battery to (+) positive...
That's where I am running into probs. Their policy is store credit only. The thing is they only carry 2 products that will come close to the PG's rated power that is 1 ohm stable. Both I have to pay a considerable difference. Was just hoping I have some ground to stand on for cash refund. If...
I bought a PG Xenon 1200.1 bout 2 months ago. It had to be returned for warrantee to PG 1 week after it was bought (installed by shop). Took 5 weeks to get it back. I have had it for around a week and a half and another issue with it. The shop told me they would refund me store credit ($450 +...
HMMM......Any idea by doing this mod, what would the 1200.1's output be in a 4 ohm load? Can only run 1 ohm or 4 ohm due to having 3 6ohm DVC's subs. Just wondering if it would be that much more of a difference than just running it @ 1ohm as I am now.
Not trying to be sarcastic, but do you have any idea what you want???......I mean you have posted about every possible setup under the moon it seems one after another! Almost as if you just like to see yourself starting a thread as to feel important.
Sent my Xenon 1200.1 back to get warranteed. Took over a month to get it back!!!! Sounds identical to the same problem I had. They replaced the secondary power supply and output circuit board.
Most JL's are geared more towards SQ. The W7's are a good mix of both sq and very capable spl. Am running 3 12W3's, haven't had it metered as of yet, but figuring 140's. Just my .02, I'm sure others may have a different opinion,
I told the guy that built the box for me that the 12W3's needed 2.25 each ported. Have plenty of trunk room. Enclosure takes about half. He tried telling me he had a program that takes into account the mechanical and electrical Q and other specs into some formula that would be optimal. I know...
You were running 1 Type R 15 w/ 3.2kw?......And I was worried bout just sending it 1200! How did you get that out of a trunk car? Not knocking you, just want some insight. Drive a Caprice myself.
