hey all this is my 1st time ever that i look into buying speakers for my car! and.. i need ur advice!! the only thing that has been keeping me back is the installation.. i always thought it was too much of a hasstle trying to do it on my own for the 1st time..especially now that its winter...

ohh.. i see.. so basically.. i just go right through the screw... instead of trying to take it out?

what do u mean by drilling it out.. isnt this what ive been trying to do? like im scared of trying anything new.. cuz the screw just keeps getting worse and worse..

omg guys.. i think i have a SERIOUS problem,,, the screw is screwed in HARD.. i went to sears and grabbed the damaged screw remover set... and what happens is this.. i holding the drill with pressure, and the scre will just not move, the drill is working hard to get the screw out.. the drill is...

well.. the terminal's cup plastic on the inside is melted as hell too.. so u think i shouldt even use the cup and just run the wires through the port?

how do u guys deal with this issue? im trying to remove the last screw on my subwoofer, and it got stripped like a mofo... have no idea how to get it out :S

yeah, thats what i think it is, cuz the wire at the plug looks pretty ****ed up and melted and black and shit, so i guess im gonna get new wires.. what gauge should i get?

ok, so i tested the amp with another woofer, and it worked fine, then while the subwoofers where still in the car in their box, i touched the sub wires to a 9V battery but didnt notice any movement from the subs, just a scratchy noise.. so i took the subs out of the car, into the house and...

and what ohm reading am i looking for... theyre dueal 4 ohm coild.. so i should read something close to 4 ohm? and does it matter what i play through the subs?
