These ratings are at 14.4 volts. I averaged 13.5v when I did not have any electrical upgrades. When I first set up this amp I underestimated it because I blew a 200Wrms subwoofer (the gains were set with a multimeter so this was not due to clipping). So I believe it does close to what it claims...

ruin speakers if all the settings are correct. I mean, is it possible to have an amplifier that works although it makes the speakers sound scratchy and permanently screws up the voicecoil. Hahahaha, ok, I ordered an eclipse 3000 cuz the kenwood is crap. In other words the kenwood is gone but i want to know if that is why my speakers are f'ed up. Yes, the 10cu feet enclosure is massive. It is to the max specs for the subs (it is very well braced inside so no worries on that one)...
