I was hooking my amp up to my head unit and I got the rca's hooked up but I don't see anywhere to hook the remote wire on the back of the head unit. I'm using this hu. I can take a picture of the back if it's needed. Thanks.

I was just wiring the voice coils together on my sub and I realized that I won't be able to fit two sets of wire (+ to +, - to -, and amp to sub) into the terminals. I was wondering what I can do to make this work without just using smaller wire. Any help or suggestions would be greatly...

It's in a Dodge Ram and I really don't care which way I put it I just thought down would be the safest to make sure none of my stupid friends got in my truck and put their foot through my sub but I can just put a grill on it if port downs a bad idea. I'm really not that concerned about it.

I'm thinking of building my box sub down, port down, but I was wondering how much space I should have between the port and the floor. Also if that's just a stupid thing to do let me know and I won't.

thanks for the help. I didnt think my box was gonna work because my port was gonna take up too much room so im fairly relieved to know the port area is taken off.

so if i need a 2.5ft box then i just make it 2.5 and throw in the port?

When making a ported box do you take the volume of the port into account when figuring out the volume.

Last night i was hooking up the amps in my truck and i got to the rca's. When i bought my truck it had the headunit in it already and it didn't come with the removal keys so i don't know how to get it out. If anyone has any ideas on what i can do it'd be neato.

I'm building my first box with a flared psp port and I used the psp port calculator to find the length and i was wondering if the length the give me is the length the tube needs to be or the length including the flares. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
