Placement of ct sounds bio 10 console box

Don't over think it, you bought a 35$ sub with 6mm Xmax. Put it in a 1/2 cu ft sealed box anywhere in the van and it will give you what your looking for. Just be careful playing music with low bass..not sure if your amp has a high pass filter..even with 175watts you can blow a entry level sub...

Looking for subwoofer recommendations for an sq setup.

What is your current sub lacking? If it's output, try a ported box..

Need help on ported box port.

Is this even possible with how I am mounting my sub? Thanks for any responses

Ok to get big class d if keeping gains low?

Ok, so for now it will be fine. Future plans are running it at 1 ohm or maybe .75 for a 13w7 if it's doable.. maybe they make a block with 0 gauge in and 1 0awg out/ 1 4awg out.. Ill deal with it when it gets to that point

Ok to get big class d if keeping gains low?

I'm getting ready to plan the amp upgrade. Going with the KnuConcepts dual amp kit. 300amp battery fuse with 0 gauge ofc to Dual 150 amp distro block with 4 gauge ofc The PDX5 has 60amp internal fuse and 4 gauge power/ground inputs so no issue there on 150amp from distro block. The CAB amp...

Mount a enclosure to rear deck?

I'm new to this but my opinion would be to use 1/2 wood to keep as much enclosure volume. Plenty of shallow mount subs to choose from. If I had to guess you have about .5cu ft there after wood and sub displacement. Take off the rear deck cover and bolt the box to the bottom of the deck. You can...

I don't think I'd gain much staying sealed with 450watts. Now if I upgrade my amp..

What sub for 90% SQ, but will get obnoxious when need be..on CAB 1600

I really didn't do much research about soundstage and all but I'm running mids at 50hz on 12db slope up to 160hz 12db slope and they sound good.. I have them on only 50watts (8ohm) and they sound ok but really come alive off my sub channel..450 mono 8ohm in parallel so they were seeing 225w a...

What sub for 90% SQ, but will get obnoxious when need be..on CAB 1600

I'm not willing to sacrifice under rear seat space as I use it for tools and dogs haha. Space is stated in first post. Current box has 3 separate chambers. In front near footwell 2 8" peerless sls mids. Rear facing towards back seat 8w7 1.1ft net. Mids have about the same. I measured again and...

What sub for 90% SQ, but will get obnoxious when need be..on CAB 1600

Yep, that's def the cheapest option.. it was in a prefab box before ported and did put out quite a bit more. It didn't fit under the rear seat though and wanted to try sealed...sounds good but not too much deep bass

What sub for 90% SQ, but will get obnoxious when need be..on CAB 1600

Current setup is a sealed 8w7 on 450watts. Was going to get a dedicated sub amp instead of the 5th channel of my PDX5.. but I feel like the sub is pretty much maxed..anyways Goal: Keep SQ of current sub but be able to get a little crazy when need be. 01 Silverado Extended Cab with center...
