hey guys i think i might be in a unique situation here..i have no idea wtf is wrong with my amp. last might i took the amp and subs out from my old car everything was working fine..moved it to my new car, ran wires and everything, hooked it up and its not working! no power light, no protection...

ic thanks. also what if the factory head unit has built in equalizers that will only give high notes to the speakers as opposed to the low notes a sub needs? wont a sub recieve only those highs as well?

sup guys i just financed a brand new 06 civic si and i dont want to remove the factory unit since it's all one piece with my navig and it also plays mp3. i was wondering if i use power from my rear speaker outputs to a LOC will i still be able to use the rear speakers and if so how?

1 type R ported definately is loud enough for the average person. i recently upgraded to 2 and i personally think they are too go**** loud haha . i have to turn down my gains a lil lol.

it could not be dead. check all your connections for the head unit. possibly not enough power going to your unit and thats why when you use more power (ie. turn on headlights) that your faceplate died. just check all connections.

i bought both my type rs on ebay for 60 bucks haha...just gotta know where to find em. most of them are used but still work great.

i also have my viper d1200.1 running two alpine type Rs in my 1988 integra lol. hmmm no dimming whatsoever even when the engine is off and i turn it up full blast. i did not even do big 3 yet, planning on doing it this weekend with 1 gauge.

yeah they are all 30 amp fuses, i thought they were different too lol. what fuse did you use for your 4awg setup ?
