sometime a back i waz setting up a sound for a friend and i hooked up a woofer which he gave me and when i turned on the sound everyting chaged there waz this loud sound coming frum the speaker and the humming of the engine in the sound....we then realized that he woofer waz shorted.......anyone...

i recently bought a jbl px600.2 amplifier to power a pioneer 12" dual voice coil champion series subwoofer. Now that i have hooked up the system to play at 4 ohm the woofer just keeping jumpin it doesn't jus to the music but it jus jumps and the protect light on the amp comes on at even a volume...
