It was doing the white noise thing with just the amp and speaker wires hooked up. No RCA'S running to it at all. So ill hook everything up to the new amp and see if I have any issues. Just sucks if it is the amp bc Pioneer was at one point really good I thought.

Thanks and that is exactly what I did with the boom mat enclosures. I also added a clump of Dielectric Grease in the holes I made through the enclosures. Just to try and seal out any more opportunity for moisture to get in.

Thanks for the replies. So I changed out the door speakers. After that is when the left speaker started getting white noise only in that one channel on the amp. Messed with it for awhile reset the gains and got the white noise to mostly disappear. Went a couple of days nothing wrong with either...

Yeah the power and grounds seem fine plus it’s just the one channel that is doing it every other one is fine it’s a pioneer gm-9705 had it for almost 2 years now and it just started doing it

It’s only the left rear channel on the amp so it’s definitely the amp. is it hard find which one it is?

So I have the rcas off of the amp and I’m still getting white noise/hiss out of just my left rear speaker. Any clue what can be causing it?

Any recommendations on how to keep the moisture out or would adding the baffles be enough?
