    Hi all, Probably another stupid question but; I installed an Alpine 9886 in a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Works great, the Alpine unit is AWESOME but I'm missing one hookup. It's the 'illum' wire from the head unit to dim it when the lights come on. There's no direct wire in the factory harness...

    Another stupid wiring question

    No, none of the speakers are comps (assume you mean component system speakers) so there were no crossovers included. Assume then that I need to pick up a pair (of crossovers)to split the signal from front to tweeter? Thanks for the info!
