those boxes have a port plug if it is a type 2 or 3 box. take the sub out and look into the box and find where it is, then just cut the carpet on the outside. you might want to call q-logic first and find out exactly how to do it

i listen to all kinds of music on it. rap, rock, techno, bass tests, and it hasn't crapped out on me yet. it is in the back of a cherokee so i can hear distortion and know when to turn it down.

i've been running my 120 watt 10" from my room on a bp1200.1 for a while now until i get my subs and it has been fine. it is in a 1.4 cf box tuned to 37hz

i just looked at winisd pro, and at full power, they wont go beyond xmax until about 18hz. theres not a whole lot of music that goes that low anyways

just tune it low and they should be fine. also, with only 300 watts per sub, i wouldn't worry about it

what would be louder, 1 power hx2 15 or 2 punch hx2 twelves. both would be in ported boxes. thanks

I have been looking at 2 punch hx2 12's, but i was wondering what might be better that i could get for under $300 total. i can find them for 125 a piece. I would spend more but then i wouldnt have any money left to get rid of my ghetto rattles:) I want something that would work in a 5 cubes...

I just tried two different boxes on Winisd- one was a 1.5 sealed box, the other was a 2 cf ported box tuned to 30hz. At 30hz, the ported was around 5 db's louder. At 40hz also 5 db's louder, 4 db's at 50hz, and around 2.5 db's at 60hz. That is all with the same power. So, unless Winisd is...
