It's the 2ohm version, in a ported box....and I'd like to power it with a kicker amp. Any recommendations? I'll take recommendations for other amp brands as well....just letting you know my preference would be for a kicker brand. Thanks for any help. Ken

I have one 12-inch Kicker L7 (2 ohm). I've made a tentative decision to power it with a Kicker ZX850.2. What do y'all think about this? Kenny

Hmm...can you explain what the ohm part of this deal is? I was under the assumption since the speaker is 2 ohms, I needed a amp running 2 ohms to match. What is a ohm? Can anyone gor into detail on that for me please? And why it's ok to do 1ohm amp to a 2ohm speaker?
