Im not that familiar with amps but if it helps just go with the whole audiobahn setup. ya know, get and audiobahn amp. Thats what im running and im totally satisfied. A friend is running some audiobahns with and mtx amp and its pretty fly but its an older mtx amp and I think the olders ones are...

mtx 4000's can drop major but they are not clear. If you want good sq and spl and you want something that drops go with the audiobahn.

I have never heard Perfects but I have heard Audiobahns, I actually have them myself and Im totally satisfied. I think they are great for spl and sq. They are definetly clear, thats why I chose them.

Personally, I dont think audiobahns are at all sluggish, they are the smoothest subs I have heard in a while and they can definetly drop. If someone has heard sluggish audiobahns i think it was probably the setup and enclosure. Everyone I know is getting audiobahns at this point in time cause...
