Thanks for your help guys I figured it out. I just got connection happy and connect two 12v power lines cause i ran a separate line to the ignition fuse. Dumb I know

Ok so i figured it out and I didn't need an output line converter, but I am still stumped as to wtf is going on. When the door is open and key is turned on headunit is on and sound comes out. when you close the door and the chimes shut off the sound stops coming out what in the hell is causing...

I already did that and nothing came out. so not sure what the deal was with that

I don't really care about the steering wheel controls and all that at this time. The head unit turns on and everything just no sound comes out because of the gmos integration kit that only has rca's to hook up to the headunit there are no wire. I believe I have to get a metra line output...

I am interested in the Unit. I know I am new to the site but have always had alpine decks. Is 175 the lowest you can or will go for the unit??? I can buy a new one online right now for 199.

I am interested in the subs. I saw that mounting depth online was 5.88". Do you know if that is accurate. they will be going in a 2006 avalanche with the box under the rear seat. so mounting dept in critical for me.
