Looking to rewire my jeep with all new grounds, and battery cables as well as upgrading my main system cable from 4 to 2 AWG soon. I got a good deal on 50 feet of 2 AWG welding cable for the job. Now Im looking for a good deal on a supply of crimp on copper lugs for the wire. Anyone have any ideas?

I would either buy or make your own adapters to run a 5 1/4" (or preferably a 6.5) in the dash instead of the 4x6. They will give you a little more muscle to your sound and there's a much greater selection vs the 4x6.

If you dont want to paint, you could try using some vinyl and spray adhesive, or contact paper to line the port. They would have less drag on the air then the carpet if you're concerned with that.

Are you sure its the same amp? The end controls are different. I know the 08 model has high level inputs according to the manual, the 06 doesn't. The 08, does not have a phone jack for the remote gain, the 06 does. The 08 has 2 30 amp fuses, my 06 has one 70 amp fuse. Those are just...

You shouldnt have use the water based primer as it may cause the box to swell. But since its already on there you can use enamel spray over top of it (considering it has cured fully already).

OK I was just basing them off the info in the Alpine manual, its suggested 1 cube net tuned to 35 Hz Out of curiousity why would you run more volume then what the spec sheet says?
