Due to space constraints I have chosen a JL 13TW5-3 as my sub. This subs impedance is 3 ohm. would i be better to use a 4 channel amp to run both my front comps and my sub or should i run my sub off of a mono amp such as an alpine MRP-M500 amp. Thanks

I am installing an JL Audio 13TW5-3 Shallow-mount 13.5" 3-ohm subwoofer in my 350Z. I would like to use an Alpine MRP-M500 amp but not sure if I should use a mono amp or a 2 channel amp and bridge it. what would be best for this type of sub. Thanks for the help Randy

well i jumped the remote wire and the power wire and the amp turned on so it must be the remote wire not hooked up properly. thanks for the suggestion

it is grounded and the remote wire is hooked up although the remote wire may be messed up it was missing from the harness and i had to replace it with a different wire. i think that is probably the problem. can you run the amp without this wire?

I bought a used amp online, after hooking it up it doesnt turn on. the power indicator doesnt come on. i know its getting juice .the fuse looks good also. is the amp bad?

Getting ready to install an older amp in my car ( Alpine V-12 MRV-F300 4 channel Car Amplifier ) any suggestion on an install kit would be helpful. I am totally new at this so be gentle
