I got in the truck last night and it was working, then driving down the road I hit a bump and it quit so I'm guessing the harness is just loose.

The stealthbox for my truck just didn't have the deep end bass that I was expecting and for the price it for sure wasn't worth what it cost. Since, I have upgraded to a 13W7 and a 1000/1V2. Now I have the deep end bass I was looking for but I had to sacrifice the small portion of my back seat.

i just put a JL 13W7 in a ported box powered by a JL 1000/1V2 amp in a 07 Sierra and it sounds great, very good sq and it will piss your girlfriend off but you won't hear her!

Yeah I know I could have went with something else for cheaper not necessarily smarter but, really wanted to try out JL, and happy to say I am very pleased.

If you are implying that I have put 5k in a 500 vehicle then you are badly mistaken, more like 2200 in a 55k vehicle.

OK so I got the 13W7 and a JL slash 1000/1 this past weekend and to be honest I think it would drown out 4 or 5 of the stealth boxes! It is amazing for only one sub! My rear seat is a 60 / 40 split so I took out the 40 side which is only like 20 inches wide any way and made a custom enclosure...

Once I get it completed I can put up some pics if anyone is interested in seeing how it turned out.

Just to let you guys know, thanks for the advice. I checked the amp settings an they were set up like you suggested. This system was put in professionally so I'm sure they knew how to set it up. I will be getting rid of the stealthbox and the HD amp and replacing them with a JL Slash 1000/1V2...
