But is it safe to assume that I will get MORE volume out of the Boston Pro sub than I will with the D6 sub with 500W? (The boston is also a 2ohm load as opposed to the 4ohm load of the D6)

Guys, thanks for the help. I am running a D6 inthe stealthbox right now, but I am not getting the overall volume I was from the JL w3v2 (before it blew) so this is why i am even considering the boston pro sub again...

I can not say that I am running an SPL or a SQ set-up, as those seemed ot be designed strictly for exactly that and not daily listening. This is my main concern. I want a sub that is going to play LOUD and still sound good at the same time. It needs to be able to keep up wiht the Diamond D9's...

With one, i will get a 3ohm load. Not much of a diferrence on a JL 500/1 since it is regulated from 1.5-4ohms I am just wondering which one will put out more volume!

Wel, I ended up with a 4ohm D6 in my stealthbox because my 10W3v2 took a crap on me. Sounds pretty good now! The only thing I am wondering is, will it be better(or even make a diferrence) if I filled up the box with polyfil? Anyone know?

Then something must nt be set-up correctly. I am going to have the installer pull the sub, and check where he has the crossover set on the sub amp... maybe it is near the 68hz that the AVN6600 boosts the bass... Would that effect it? You are much moe knowledgable than I am here, so please...
