the terminal cup is melted where the terminals where. so it is pretty much useless to use now. This has been nothing but a headache since upgrading the sound system in my car.

My sub is a D4 and I am only running one right now. after I sell my other car im going to get a second cvx and a whole different box and amp. but for now I just want this system to work. I will have to plug the current hole up that the terminal cup is in and then drill for the wires I guess...

CVX without a doubt. Its what I am running in my car right now. got it off of clicky

im running a 1000 watt Koiiler nothing special but its all I have right now until I get some more money to replace it. and I dont know what impedance it is running at. I just know I never had any problems with the box and amp until now when I put the kicker in it.

And by ditching the terminals what should I use instead then?

I have had this sub enclosure for the past two years and just recently installed a new system into my car including a new Kicker CVX. The problem is that the plastic cup that holds the speaker terminals on the box seems like it is melting from the heat. I am wondering if there is anyway to stop...
