No I put in an inexpensive kenwood Kdx 399, it's got all the features I need for only 100.

It's just dirt,i cleaned it up and removed the paint from the plate under the bolt. I've cleaned it up since the pic was taken.

I have the sub amp gain at about 3/4, bass boost at 0, input level is low, and freq crossover looks to be 80 or so (it goes from 10-200 50 it's the middle) it's about 3/4 turned.

One of the problems I'm finding is that all the fused distribution boxes are for car audio with 0/1 or 4 to 8 gauge. I'm using 14 gauge for the lights, I'd like to go 3 14g down to 1 4gauge.

Yes, I want to keep all three on separate switches. It's weird though, for some odd reason I can wire them all up with the relays and fuses but when it comes to putting a box together I can't wrap my head around it.

The HU is only $150 replacing factory HU. The infinity component is $200 replacing stock infinity 6.5's and tweeters. The amp is $200 replacing stock infinity amp. These prices are my price range. Are you saying maybe spent less on the components and more on the amp, or less on the HU and...

I listen to everything, from hard rock to old freestyle. Very limited budget, I already have good lows from the amp/ sub already installed. I would like to round it out, doing it myself to save money.
