Its in a Chevy Colorado. I already put the mids and tweeters in the doors but I am adding a image enhancement kit (CDT speakers) and I need to run wires from the crossovers back into the truck.

I have not heard the image dynamics speakers but I am very pleased with my CDT speakers.

I just installed a set of 2way CDT CL-61's over the weekend and some co-axial CDT's in the back for rear fill. Having paid only about $200 total for both sets I was aprehensive about their performance even after reading many positive reviews on this site and others... After testing them out...

I need to get speaker wire from my door to the cabin of my truck and its proving to be somewhat difficult. The stock rubber boot is really high on the door and is hard to get at, and even if I can get access to it, its crammed full of wires which will make feeding more wire through it a pain...

I'll probably just end up using the Databus interface module I bought. I was hoping I could get around it and send it back to save some money but it would probably be easier just to bite the bullet and use it. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

Luckily my truck's stock HU isn't as integrated as some GM ones are with airbags etc. The only problem is there is no switched turnon (at least not with aftermarket wire kits). If I could figure out which wire gives it power until the door is opened that would be cool. I would rather tap into...

I don't have the manual, thats part of the problem... And its not in the usual place that it is on most cars... and the cigerette lighter is always hot.
