Sorry...the amp is a small Kenwood marine 50 watt per channel amp, the speakers are 4 Pioneer 6.5 3 way speakers rated at 300 watt max/ 50 watt rms I think they have built in crossovers for the tweeters...

Good info thanks!!! now if the head unit only has the 1 rca (L&R) output how does it separate front/back speakers??? so if I run from the rca (L&R) output from head to amp that will give me the stereo out from the head unit but the amp has 4 rca's in how does that work?

This is a mini amp (not much space in a Jeep) not a lot to it no panel aside from a gain, polarity button and low/high input button all 4 channel outs, power lead, ground, remote turn on switch are just wires straight out of the unit it has a plug in for the remote vol knob and a plug in for mp3...

I just went out to take another look at it...dont know if this factors in or not but, if I disconnect all of the rca inputs from the HU and stick just the pos of any of them in to the connector I get 2 speakers making sound, doesnt the rca's have to have ground and pos to work??? doesnt make...
