ok the IIRC is the parking brake - right - and to make sure the amp in the brain isn't blown check for signal where? If i just ground the parking brake won't that disable any video i may want to use in the future? Thanks for all this great help.

used. It powers up, i can access the radio and navi, but no sound. I am betting I don't have the parking brake wire correct.

I am installing the iva-c800, I have it in and powered up. I am not getting any volume. When I press the source button and then try to access the more advanced features the function 4 button is dimmed out - Does anyone know why the button would be dimmed out and not functioning? Thanks, John
