I had my two HDC312's on a AQ2200 and they barely moved. If your objective is to "beat the shit out of the subs" then i think the coppers would be ok. I'm gonna be running 3k to a single HDC315 (copper). Just let the subs break in before you let them get low and don't max out the bass boost...
