for my doors i just cut a new hole and used wire loom to conect the two holes and ran the wires thew there it works good no problems

you also need bigger wire befor you get more power what gage is that runing to the amp frome the pic it looks like 4 or some thing could be just the pic or just my head

he is right about the five wire but one wire is for ground 1 is for power one way the other is for power the other way and the last will be for the alarm just figer out witch is witch

have you checked all the connections like ground and fuse connections because mine ground Wehr i gridded the metal crowded over the winter and as soon as it tried to consume any power it went in to protect
