I am building a sealed box for my PG RSD10 and want to know how big I should build. As of right now, I am planning on these dimensions:
(Vol: 1.134 Cubic Feet)
Also, could I safely build this box ported with the same dimensions?
If the box is ported, does that make a huge difference in volume/sq? I have heard they get trickier than sealed ones. I am a noob to car audio, so I want to stay as simple as possible.
Nice! Another noob question for you: I am planning on making a box by these dimensions: 7" Deep x 14" Wide x 39" Long
Will it make a huge difference in sound quality if the box is ported or sealed?
I just purchased 2 PG RSD10's and am planning on building a box with these dimensions: 7" Deep x 39" Long x 14" Wide
The subwoofer specs can be found here: http://www.phoenixgold.com/pdf/radialSD/subwoofers.pdf
If you guys have any tips/suggestions, please let me know. They will be greatly...
I am just looking to add some nice, fairly loud bass, nothing too drastic. Also, I am planning on building my own box, so if you guys have any tips or suggestions, they will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I have heard some good things about the PG RSD series, but nothing specific about this model. I am a noob when it comes to car audio, but this looks like a good deal when comparing the specs to other similar subs.
Here it is...
