I am building a sealed box for my PG RSD10 and want to know how big I should build. As of right now, I am planning on these dimensions: (Vol: 1.134 Cubic Feet) Also, could I safely build this box ported with the same dimensions?

Are these dimensions large enough for the box to be ported safely?

If the box is ported, does that make a huge difference in volume/sq? I have heard they get trickier than sealed ones. I am a noob to car audio, so I want to stay as simple as possible.

If I buy the PG RSD10, what would you guys recommend for an affordable amp that can power this sub to its full potential?

Not sure. A lower end Alpine brand that probably puts out just enough power to each.

I was also offered two powered 12" Type Es with the box for $200. This a better deal?
