I looked in to this a while back on their DVC 3ohm sub. Fairly retarded. You are either running at 3 or .75. With 4 you could keep it at 3 ohms by running two parrallel sets of series, if that makes sense. I don't know what your amp is though and what it will take, I know mine wont tecnically...

I am yet to run in to a ford (built after 95) that did not have 5x7 (AKA 6x8) speakers. I have, or have owned 7 ford trucks/vans ranging from 95 to 2006 and they were all the same. I am 99% sure this is the case in you car also.
