i wonder if the focals will handle that much power. i guess i will just have to buy it and see if it sounds better than the alpine. but alpine's amps are hard to beat when it comes to powering mids and highs.

i want something that will deliver around 100 watts per channel rms. i am way more interested in sound quality than just noise. they will be pushing focal 165 v2 and 6x9 cvx. i have a thunder elite pushing a mtx 8500. are mtx's 4 channel amps good too.

my car was running 1400 watts rms and i had 1 kinetik 1200 battery running with my stock battery and a 2 fared cap and i was really happy with it. i know that if you are gonna run two batteries they suggest two of the exact same batteries. but running with the stock worked for me. so mabey...
