Is a sealed plexiglass box going to sound better than regular mdf box? I am on the verge of purchasing a new box, but I don't know if I should purchase a plexiglass box because it is about $200 opposed to a regular wood $50 box.

I have 2 JL Audio W3's and a JL 500/1 (mono amp). I was wondering what kind of setup would make the best performance? I kind of understand parallel-parrellel, but not quite sure?

I have 2 JLW3 12" subs powered by a JL Audio amp 500/1 and I am running 6 gauge wire from the amp to the battery. When I turn up the volume, the subwoofers start to pop. I can tell the speakers are not at their full potential because I heard how loud a W3 sounds. Are the subs going bad or is...
