I had all the settings the same for a while and this just recently happened. The only thing I did was turn up the BBE, I didn't think that would have any effect on the problem tho. I also moved the sub box a little before this happened but I checked the connections and all seem to be good...

I'm trying to figure out if this is just me being paranoid or an actual problem but sometimes when i have my music on low and then turn it up louder the bass seems to adjust with the volume of the deck but then maybe a min later the sub seems to get louder as if it kicked on twice as hard. Did...

I have a JL audio 13" W7 in a sealed box as of now. I heard that it would sound 10x better in a ported box. Will a ported box really make the sub a lot louder and what qualities will be sacrificed? If any.

Those iridiums are a little pricy. Is there anything a little cheaper out there with really good mid bass and high's.

How are those pioneer rev 6.5's with mid bass?

Ok they may be 6 1/2 then. I went to crutchfield to find out, guess they were wrong lol.

Oh I forgot to add that I have a 98 blazer and I need 5 1/4" speaks for the doors... don't know if that affects your decision.
