    im going to put a second battery in my trunk and i know a deep cycle would be better than a starting battery but i want know will a deep cycle create less of a strain on my charging system? and where is a good place to find deep cycles for cheap?

    if im running two AQ hdc3's and a AQ 3500d amp with two batteries (one in the trunk and one in the engine compartment) would a 110amp alternator burn up or would it keep up with it?

    When using JL's specs to make a box you will not get the most outta that sub. jl creates specs that will prolong the life of a sub rather than have the sub reach a higher spl

    I am wondering if two 12inch AQ hdc subs (which are 1000rms a piece) in a 5cf ported box would be louder than one 12inch Fi BTL (which is 2000rms) in a 3cf ported box. How big of a difference would there be in terms of spl? It will be powered by a AQ 2200D which is 2200rms.

    Comparing 1/0 to 4/0.

    thanks alot for the info got another question thuogh. i updraded my alt to battery wire to 4 gauge but it has about 8 strands of wire. would it make a huge diffference in voltage drop if i used a much finer strand? or is it fine the way it is
