1" tweeter and 7" mid. Overall size is 15" H, 9" W, and 11" D. I made mine a little taller to fit my application. Most people put them on stands. I'm told you want the tweets at ear level.

Thanks man, I'm loving how they turned out! I went with a kit from Madisound, found here. One of the huge bonuses with a kit is the crossover. The designer tweeks it to get the best response. My kit came with pre-assembled XOs. PE has a lot of great kits to, what are you looking at for budget...

Since you already have a sub for the set up, go with a higher end 2-way that you build yourself. I'm working on tunes in the house, my build log is here. My speakers are sooo sweet, no distortion and they crank. Only downside is hearing the quality of the music file and/or production value of...

First Sub Build - SQ Oriented

Those are the baskets I'm looking at......I don't have a "parts guy", I'm just hunting classifieds. Since I'm totally a newb, I'm bouncing ideas off all that will help. Hispls and yourself have been helping the most. Do you have parts or know someone with lots of stuff around? If so, please...

TC9 for sure. Thanks. I'll hunt down 2-TC9 motors and baskets, then I'll be back with an update and more questions. Anyone reading this have a couple TC9 motors to sell? Looking for other parts too......

First Sub Build - SQ Oriented

What are some brands/types of motors with XBL type motors? Are they good in the 600w RMS range too? I'm still into the TC stuff. What do you like about XBL motors or brands above a TC9 motor?

First Sub Build - SQ Oriented

I'm convinced on the TC9 motor and sticking with 10's. You brought up a good point I hadn't thought of........how will I get the parameters to model a box?   ---------- Post added at 08:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:10 PM ----------   I guess we will learn together!

First Sub Build - SQ Oriented

Should I start with 2 TC9 motors and 2 baskets, then go from there? That way I have the measurements I will need for the spider and cone?

First Sub Build - SQ Oriented

Please help me out!! I want to build my own subs. Big fan of the TC Sounds stuff and I always go with sealed boxes. After lurking around for awhile, I could use some help. I will purchase a caliper to ensure the motor/basket/VC mate up. I'm looking to build 2-10" subs for sealed boxes. My goal...
