i heard the focal utopias, but i wasnt that impressed... i heard them in a cherokee.. maybe the speakers werent placed properly.. i dont know.. i ended up getting the cdt es 620's... all i have to say is that these speakers are impressive... u should try to listen to both before spending all...

i have it in my car and i dont really listen to it.... get it if you like talk radio and stuff like that..

can you play movies while u r driving, or does the the parking brake have to be on??? Do you know a way to bypass this???

getting my avic-n1 installed this week.... does this thing play mp3s that are on dvds???? i have a dvd burner, it would be sweet cause if it does play them, i could put 4.7 gigs worth of mp3s on one disc..

if i only listen to it at high volumes when i drive, and never when the car is turned off, do you think i will be ok with the stock alternator??

ok, here is the situation for me.. just found out if i replace the alternator in my mercedes, i will lose the warranty on my car.... i really want the 1000/1, but that would mean getting a new alternator, which by the way, would cost somewhere between $500-$800 for a mercedes... do i have any...

i didnt realize how expensive alternators are.... i got quoted for $800 for a 200 amp alternator for my mercedes c320... THAT IS MAD EXPENSIVE!!!!!!! Currently, my car has a 90 amp alternator... $800 for an alternator..... that sounds like too much... do you know where i could get one cheaper...

i dont really have a prob spending the money on an alternator, but i cant seem to find one for my car... i dont even know where to look... also, would putting in a new alternator void the warranty on my car???

has anyone heard this amp yet (Phoenix Gold 1200.1 xenon series)??? If so, how is it compared to the jl audio 1000/1 or the phoenix gold tantrum 1200.1???

I have looked around the net for component systems and these are my options... i am gonna be using a jl audio 300/2 amp... focal 165w mb quart qsd 216 cdt es620 all three of these component systems end up costing the same... which component system will match up best with my amp???

would a jl audio 300/2 amp be good enough for the focal utopia 165w??
