    Radio straight wired electrical issues

Ok I think that might be where the issue is, I really have no idea on how to wire things so I let my friend do it. As far as I remember in the new wiring harness there was not a ground so he tested all the wires and found one that wasn’t getting power so he used a butt connector to run the...

    Radio straight wired electrical issues

Alright I will check that out and see if one of my buddys has one of those tools. If they don’t would an auto parts store be able to check them for me or would I need to buy one?

    Radio straight wired electrical issues

I really am hoping it’s just a fuse, I opened my fuse box and looked to see if any of my fuses were blown and none of them were.

    Radio straight wired electrical issues

I went through and checked my fuses and all of them were good. Could there be any other culprits?

    Radio straight wired electrical issues

I was wiring up my radio and wasn’t getting power to the accessory wire so I am running it off of the constant power wire and since then my cigarette lighter quit working and my dash lights will not cut on. Is this just a coincidence or is my radio causing these issues?

First subwoofer, reasonable setup under 500?

I’m installing it myself so no worry about the install price, and the wiring kit is only around $50 so that’s not too bad

First subwoofer, reasonable setup under 500?

Aftermarket, I have a jvc and a Sony and a dual, the Sony has the most outputs, which I guess more is better

First subwoofer, reasonable setup under 500?

$500 for subwoofer, box, amp, wiring. $500 for everything that it takes to get a working sub in my back seat. Really I’d rather spend less but if im going to do it I might as well do it good I guess.

First subwoofer, reasonable setup under 500?

When I wire up a radio in my truck I hear the radio buzz but the display won’t turn on and the radio won’t play music, when I touch the antenna to the radio it sparks so I guess it is being used as a ground , even though there’s a ground wire

First subwoofer, reasonable setup under 500?

I mean, everyone has recommended it so I guess I might have to, budget would be $400 for amp and sub if the box will be under $100, really I’m trying to do this as cheap as I possibly can without having a sub that sounds like it came from the flea market and sorta compete with my other friends subs.
