Ok....thanks to the quick expert advice in this forum, I was able to fix my Amp overheating problems. You are all so wise. Here's how...I unmounted my amp but left it hooked up....then put it into a plastic bag with a PVC pipe for ventilation...then filled out a 5 gallon pail with water and...- jcisrisen

Amp thermo reset as well as high level input issues
The input issue seems to be resolved after checking all connections. Though my amp is mounted to wood with an air gap to the back deck, after a time of moderate volume...it is still too hot to touch. ...and of course goes into reset. Can an amp not be mounted upside down as mine is to the back...- jcisrisen
