ok so my friends deciding between a JL w6 w3 or alpine type r 12... hes trying to have 1 12 sub on an amp with wiring and hes gunna build his own ported box all for like 300-350 but i garuntee thats not a solid budget.... any suggestsion quiestions opinions or comments? i said Type r cuz i have...

oh an btw i said i had my type r wired to 1100watt rms off my hifonics 1608d 1600 watt amp right well i do but its nto gettign the tru 1100 watts which i pointed out because i opnly have a stock batt/alternator and i dont even have the big 3 done so i figured its gettin probly 800 or 900 watt...

ya well like my sig says ive got a type r in my trunk right now in a ported mtx thunder box running off a hifonics bxi 1608d at 2 ohms-1100w rms off a stock battery and alt and im pushing close to 140 dbs.... off 1 12 ive just never had a jl w3 so idk how they are figured id ask to give him an...

ok and price wise which would b better? and which would sound better ported? is it gunna b a big difference between the two subs tho honestly?

my firend wants to know which is a better sub SQL and SPL wise for 1 12" JL audio w3 or alpine type r?

haha it sounds jsut as good as my speaker towers that came with my stereo system...... haha how would i have separated them? they came together? u know u like hte port on it to right? haha that is the result of boredom

roadmaster 6 and 1/2" 3 way speaker in a custom shoebox box... wired to my stereo system in my room.... with a custom port in the top.... say watttt....!?!?
