    Doors are deadened and do not rattle at all. 6x9's produce oval sound waves though!! lol

    Looks like I am going to try MAch 5 Mli-65's in a custom built kick first to add to my Type X's. On my 4 channel amp, would I put the HP filter on? Thanks

    Same amount of midbass on both sides. The speakers actually get much quieter and bass much less when I change the balance to one side.

    I am thinking of leaving the X's in the doors and getting Pioneer Premier TS-C720PRS to put in the kick panels that I am going to build, but I am not so sure mixing speakers would be a good idea inless i turned the X's down a lot.

    Thanks for the help. I think I am going to pick up another set of kick panels at the junkyard and do some fiberglass work to them. Possibly move the tweets to the pillars as well.

    Thanks for the replies. I already have about 4 sheets of Damplifier Pro on both doors. I will work on sealing them off/ and or fiberglass door pods. It might be hard to totally seal the door off.

    My $100 Pioneer 6x9's in a sealed box running off a head unit have 100x more mid bass then my Alpine type X pros getting 125 RMS a piece mounted in my doors. Is this simply because of the 6x9's being in a sealed box or what? Thanks I am definately looking into the GTI JBL componets with the...
