my current box is sealed, so hopefully with a ported box it will be alot louder. How important is sound deadening to getting decent bass?

Haha, sorry, i really have no clue what it is about, i emailed alpine just asking how to wire up my sub. they replied "For your sub i would connect it for 4 ohm, that is the closest to the ideal you can get..... that will be a seires connection..." Then i went on the alpine manual for my sub...

Hi guys, im totally new to ICE, i have just bought Alpine SWR 1222D and in the manual it says i need a 24.1 liter box. I have had a quick google search but i cant find a box of that size. Does any one know where i can get a box for this sub? Or recommend the dimensions of building it? Thanks...
