    Thanks for the response. I accidentally figured that out by pushing on it from behind with a screwdriver. I didn't realize it was being held in place so lightly. Now hopefully I can install a new head unit without any problems...

    I'm a newbie to this - I was wondering how I remove my old Eclipse unit from my 1998 Honda Civic. I followed the instructions here: http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs/Honda/PDF/466013.pdf But I am stuck on step ten, because this is not the factory radio... I had the aftermarket unit...
