Current setup

I have 4 gauge power and ground and am planning on getting a q power bass12 3 hole subwoofer box. My car is a 1993 Buick lesabre with a regular car battery and marine battery thag I think is good up to somthing like 3000w

So what amp should I run then?

Right now I have 2 alpine type s’s d4. I want to get another one (d4) and a Hifonics bxx1600.1d. Would my amp always cut out if I wiried them to .7 ohms?

I’m surprising my gf with a new stereo for her hummer h3. I know it had a monsoon system because it has a factory subwoofer. Would I need to get any special harness adapter because it has the monsoon stereo system?

The amp also gets very hot

It’s not though. Other amps work just find. The external battery I used is a huge fully charged marine battery

I have a old old Kenwood kac-929. When ever I hook it up the voltage will be around 12.8 v but the when the amp turns on it drops to 10.2v. I’ve had different amps hooked up and they work. And I even tried using a different battery it sill would shut off after the voltage dropped.
