truck rice ...fail

i have 2 small pieces of wire, one runing pos to pos, one runing neg to neg./ then i have speaker wire running from the positive and negative to the pos and neg on the amp

if i bought one of those port tubes and cut a hole in the side of the box then put the port in it would it pound a bit more, or would it just screw the sound quality.?

well the box is built to the maximum i can have it right now, ill mess with the settings a bit more and see how it goes, thanks for the help, much appreciated.

i cant port cause i have limited space and wouldnt porting on a such smal box ruin sound quality horribly? i want nice crisp bass and i have like no room at all so i went with sealed. but if i ported it how much better could it get?

alright so i need a line out converter still right? then i just look up the wire colors and tap into those for the signal right? what about hte remote? can i just use the switched 12v source my deck is using?? and just splice into that?

its 2000 ford ranger. i have the stock cd player. i wanted to keep the stock look and i actually like the stock head unit. i heard i have to wire the LOC on the rear speaker wires to get a signal. need color codes if possible. the amp and stuff was free so i kinda wanted a budget system...

hmm, crap. i just built a box for the sub too. now i have to go and blow another 200 bux for an amp. so it wouldnt work with the valor amp? also about the line out converter, how do i figure out what wires to splice and where do i get a signal for the remote from? sorry for all the questions.

got it for free so i dont want to bother spending money on another amp. 20 bux for a LOC thats it, unless its impossible
