Looking at new sound system at the moment, just picking out the deck i want to get, have everything else sorted out about from my amp as well. Anyone have either of these decks? what do you think? is it worth the extra few hundred to go from the 68 to the 88. Or better just to stick with the 68...

Im fairly new too, but if you are building your first box, will proberly be alot easier just to build a sealed rather then a ported, unless you can get someone else to design it all, and you are good with carpentry skills.

I am needing a sub box, and really can not be bothered to make one, main reason is that i do not want to mess it up. Need a sealed box which is: (15h x 30w x 14d) for a Total of 2.783cft (actual inside space is 2.496cft) so little more than 1.74cft for each sub. Reconmended per sub is 1.75...

Talk off the pannel off the door? Only a few screws to undo. Also a good place to hide "things" when going to places.
