Best Way To Wire My Subs

^^^right. your amp is not 2ohm (bridged) or even 1ohm stable, you will ruin the amp. one sub per channel.

Best Way To Wire My Subs

If its a 2ch amp that's bridgeable to 1 channel than you will need to hook each sub to a separate channel. Each channel can handle down to a 2ohm load, but bridged it can only handle a 4ohm load, so if you wire them together and bridge the amp you will fry the amp.

    1/0 gauge wire suggestion?

Oh, I totally agree. But how is taking the time to rig up a fuse holder to properly hold 2 fuses "less hassle" than just ordering the correct size fuse, knowing you're protected at the size you need, that it will work how its supposed to and not hoping that the jimmied double fuses will actually...

Question On Big 3 (Mini 3)

yes. Any additional direct connections will help and the 4ga is probably bigger than your stock wiring anyways, so it will help. plus, with the size of your system, if you aren't having any issues (dimming etc.) than you technically don't need to do the big 3, but it's still a good thing to do.

    Installing Amp Power Fuse

What screws were you using? Try drilling a larger pilot hole and/or getting some self tapping screws. They should be able to penetrate the sheet metal. if you were using the ones that came with the fuse holder, they were probably just cheap soft screws.

    1/0 gauge wire suggestion?

I prefer to do things the correct way, not the cheap way. also, they have fuses up to 750A.

    1/0 gauge wire suggestion?

you're right in that it would be "no better or no worse than using one" all I'm trying to get across is that if you need a 500A fuse, get a 500A fuse. Simply stacking (2) 250A fuses will not give you a 500A fuse. one is going to blow before the other, then the second one after that, both well...

Ha! Ok, obviously you dont understand. Get back to me when you've got a clue.

    1/0 gauge wire suggestion?

You're correct in that the length of time before it blows can be longer depending on the % of the rated current its seeing at the time of failure, but the chart is also a general chart for 50 to 750A fuses, so a larger fuse wont take any longer to trip than a smaller fuse if they are both seeing...

So, because you do it, it makes it "perfectly fine"? Hmm, yeah, no.

    1/0 gauge wire suggestion?

I think you are getting terms confused. It doesnt take 5000A to blow the fuse, the fuse is capable of interrupting 5000A. Meaning, when it blows at its rated amperage (actually it usually takes 125-150% of the rating to blow the fuse, depending on the fuse and its make) it can hold back up to...

Will I need to upgrade my battery or alternator?

You can wait until it dies. The only thing that would happen is you could get a lot of light dimming/low voltage levels at lower volume levels, which depending on how drastic it is, isnt too good on your elec system. You could even start to notice some engine hesitation from not getting enough...

Will I need to upgrade my battery or alternator?

Then it looks like you probably have a 120A alt. So, if you did the big 3 and got an AGM batt you should be fine. If its a matter of money I'd say at a minimum get an AGM batt. Ive got an Exide brand AGM in my truck, it was $160 and works great!

    1/0 gauge wire suggestion?

Stacking fuses is definitely not a good way to go. Yes it may theoretically allow more amperage through, but electricity goes where it wants and without dedicated runs for each fuse, it could still try and push more than one of the fuses could handle since maybe it has a fraction less resistance...
