So for now, with the factory amp and speakers it seems to be ok. I'm sure when I get the Diamonds running off of the PDX4.150 then that won't be the case. :-)

So if you have a HU like the 9855 and switch to an active setup then you lose the time correction, yes?

I am getting one installed Friday. From what I've heard, most people like it once they get used to it. The people who slam it the most seem to be folks that don't own it.

Well, I guess it will be active *and* passive the. The Diamonds have a passive crossover for the components, but the deck also has an active crossover for the sub.

So I will be running an active setup, then. But I still think I'm going with the 9855. I do appreciate the input though.

Well, I figured out what you meant, but the 9855 does have active crossovers, unless I'm not clear on what you mean by active.

Does anyone know why they didn't put the amp link on these?

By not using it to the fullest do you mean not doing 5.1 or not having a good enough setup to warrant that much EQ?
