I'm getting my Incriminator Audio 10.1 amp tomorrow in the mail, specs are: 1200@ 1ohm/800@2ohm/400@4ohm. I currently have an SA12d2. If I wire it at 1 ohm obviously that's overpowering the SA12 but would I just be able to turn the gain down or should I just wire it to 4 ohms..

How much lower? Will an SAE fry under 12v?

No, mech man said that my computer will not allow anything more than 140 amps. Even if it was rewound it would only allow it to charge as a 140a alternator.

They don't make a high output alternator for a 2014 dart and can't because my computer won't allow it.. I've already contacted singer and mech man about it.

I've heard they're not that efficient but will do some reading up on them and decide..

What amp would you guys recommend that has the best internals to stand up to low voltage(12-13) I've been looking at the DD M1D which I know is underrated or MAYBE even a soundqubed amp. Also a CT Sounds 1400 (formerly Audio Technix) and I've heard good things about B2 which is a pretty new...

Yeah that makes complete sense, thanks for the references.. I popped the 80 amp fuse between my battery as well. So I'm going to try to relocate the ground and see if that helps and if not send it to one of those guys you mentioned. I appreciate it.

I paid $220 for it used, I haven't seen them cheaper then that.. If you find one at that price please let me know!
