    i cut the plastic off and spliced the wires together then hooked those up to the speakers. It worked the speakers sound great.

    everything electrical works in the car just the cigarette lighter outlet and the head unit power. all the research ive done says those two are linked in the same circuit or somthing. so if the outlet isnt getting power the power lead wouldnt either. i just dont get why ALL the fuses checked out...

    i checked all of the fuses. the head unit is an alpine cde-102 i had it in my old car so i know it works it was only in a vehicle for 3 weeks so its brand new. i just dont understand why i get no power to the head unit if theres no fuse popped. the cigarette light outlet doesnt work either.
