I have a 12" DVC Alpine Type R hooked up with a JBL 600.1 amp, I wat to know if the sub can handle a 2 ohm load. Which I think is 600w, when the RMS for Type R is only 300w? Any help would be great.

where is the webpage that says 900 rms? and why do they only listed at 400 rms? (I'm not asking to be a smart%$$, I'm just new to audio) Thanks

I don't want to get a 15" sub b/c i already have a box for a 12". Won't the E12k blow b/c they're only 400 watts and I'd be powering it with 600 ???

So was my last sub powered at 300 or 600 watts?
